AFC Bournemouth have reached a full agreement with Chelsea to sign goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic for about £25 million. The 25-year-old Serbia international has been granted permission to undergo a medical on the south coast next week and is expected to sign a five-year contract that would make him the Cherries’ new first-choice keeper ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League season. Petrovic joined Chelsea in 2023 from Major League Soccer side New England Revolution and spent last season on loan at Strasbourg, where he made 31 appearances and was voted supporters’ player of the year as the French club finished seventh in Ligue 1. His move ends a two-year stint at Stamford Bridge, during which he featured mainly as back-up in cup and league matches.
