Crystal Palace have strengthened their defence by signing Croatia international left-back Borna Sosa from Ajax in a deal worth about £2 million. The 27-year-old has agreed a three-year contract that runs through June 2028 after completing a medical earlier this week. Sosa, who spent last season on loan at Torino and featured in Croatia’s third-place run at the 2022 World Cup, becomes Palace’s second summer addition. He is expected to provide depth and competition on the left flank following Ben Chilwell’s return to Chelsea.
