Burnley Football Club has completed the signing of France Under-21 winger Loum Tchaouna from Italian side Lazio in a deal valued at about £12 million. The 20-year-old becomes the Premier League club’s first confirmed addition of the summer window, as manager Vincent Kompany looks to strengthen the squad following promotion. Tchaouna, who joined Lazio from Rennes last year, made 27 Serie A appearances in the 2024-25 season and featured regularly for France’s youth teams. Burnley said the player has agreed a long-term contract, though the club did not disclose its length. The Lancashire side is also weighing a move for KRC Genk striker Tolu Arokodare, according to people familiar with the talks, as Burnley seeks further attacking options before the new campaign begins.
