Tottenham Hotspur have entered direct negotiations with Manchester City for the transfer of 21-year-old Brazilian winger Savinho, according to multiple reports. Discussions are centred on a package worth about €50 million, although sources close to City indicate the Premier League champions would only consider bids in excess of £50 million. Savinho is understood to be open to the switch, with new Spurs head coach Thomas Frank identifying the wide player as a priority addition. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola values the former Troyes prospect and is reluctant to sanction a sale, but has previously said he would not block a departure if the player wishes to leave and a suitable offer arrives. Savinho joined City last summer for roughly £31 million and registered three goals and 11 assists in 48 appearances across all competitions in his debut campaign. A move to north London would offer the winger a clearer path to regular starts as he bids to cement a place in Brazil’s squad for the 2026 World Cup.
Sources have told BBC Sport that Man City are not looking to sell Savinho and that it would take offers of more than £50m for the club to consider doing so 💰 https://t.co/LERHTsodXM
