Additionally, Grok climbed to the number two position among all productivity apps in Australia and the US, and reached the fifth most popular app overall on the App Store in Hong Kong. The app also became the number one news app on the App Store in 158 countries worldwide. The Grok iOS app has surpassed 500,000 ratings in the US App Store, making it the second AI app to reach this milestone. xAI released version 1.1.48 of the Grok app, which includes bug fixes and significant improvements to its Imagine feature. Furthermore, Grok Imagine is now available for free worldwide for a limited time, and the app has introduced free video editing and creation capabilities, eliminating the need for separate software.
