SpaceX is preparing for Starship Flight 10, the tenth test flight of its Starship launch vehicle, targeting a launch no earlier than August 22, 2025. The flight will use Booster 16 and Ship 37, with a likely suborbital trajectory following the failure of Flight 9. Preparations at Starbase include removing and reinstalling the ship static fire adapter on Pad 1 to accommodate Booster 16 and Ship 37. Ship 37 underwent an engine swap, requiring additional testing such as a static fire or spin prime test before launch clearance. Initial launch windows around mid-August have shifted to late August due to these testing requirements. Concurrently, NASA and SpaceX postponed the undocking of the Crew-10 mission from the International Space Station, originally scheduled for August 7, due to high winds at splashdown sites off California. The undocking is now planned for August 8, with splashdown expected the same day. Crew Dragon Endeavor recently docked at the ISS after delivering Crew-11 astronauts.
