Spain’s Public Prosecutor has requested a two-and-a-half-year prison sentence for Real Madrid forward Raúl Asencio, accusing him of two offences against the privacy of two women, one of whom was 16 at the time of the incident. According to the indictment seen by Spanish media, Asencio asked for and later showed a video of a sexual encounter involving the two victims to a friend before deleting the file. The video, recorded without the victims’ consent in a cabin on Gran Canaria, was allegedly filmed and circulated by three former Real Madrid youth players, who now face separate requests for four years and seven months in prison on charges that include distributing child pornography. Prosecutors have also asked the court to bar all four defendants from approaching the women and to order each to pay €25,000 in compensation. No trial date has been set. Real Madrid has not commented publicly on the latest filing. Asencio, 23, remains under contract with the club and has previously denied wrongdoing.
