A man fell approximately eight meters into a crevasse on the Fee Glacier near Saas-Fee in the Swiss Alps. His Chihuahua, which remained unharmed, stayed at the edge of the crevasse and helped rescuers locate the man by barking and pacing. The dog's behavior provided rescuers with a crucial indication of the man's location, enabling them to carry out a successful rescue operation. The man and his dog were subsequently rescued by a team that rappelled down to the site and were transported by helicopter to a nearby hospital. The Chihuahua's actions have been widely praised as instrumental in saving the man's life.
