Syrian Health Minister Musab al-Ali said Israeli aircraft prevented a medical aid convoy from reaching the southern governorate of As-Suwayda on 16 July, claiming warplanes were targeting any vehicles moving toward the province. According to the minister, the convoy consisted of 15 ambulances, 10 doctors and two trucks loaded with medicines and other medical supplies. The statement was carried by the state-run SANA news agency. Israel did not immediately comment on the allegation, and the claim could not be independently verified.
