The Syrian Defense Ministry reported that an attack by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the northern city of Manbij resulted in injuries to four Syrian army personnel and three civilians. The ministry described the SDF's attack as "irresponsible and for unknown reasons," while both sides exchanged blame over the incident. In southern Syria's Sweida province, armed outlaw groups violated a ceasefire agreement by attacking internal security forces, killing one officer, injuring others, and shelling several villages. These clashes led to the temporary closure of the humanitarian corridor in Busra al-Sham until the area was secured. Syrian internal security forces later regained control of Tal Al-Hadid in the Sweida countryside amid heightened security measures to prevent further breaches. Additionally, five members of the Syrian Democratic Forces were killed in an attack by the Islamic State in Deir Ezzor. The situation in Sweida has reportedly returned to the status quo prior to the attacks, but security forces remain on alert for potential new violations.
