Samsung has released the Galaxy S25 Edge, its thinnest flagship smartphone to date, measuring 5.8mm thick and weighing 163g. The device is now available globally, priced at $1,099 for the 256GB model and $1,219 for the 512GB version. The S25 Edge features a 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2. It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor with 12GB of RAM, and runs One UI 7. The phone includes a titanium frame, IP68 water resistance, and is offered in Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Icyblue. The main camera is a 200MP sensor, matched by a 12MP ultrawide lens with macro mode, and a 12MP front camera. There is no dedicated telephoto camera, but the device provides 2x optical quality zoom via sensor cropping. The camera system includes AI-powered tools such as Audio Eraser and Generative Edit. The S25 Edge has a 3,900mAh battery, supporting 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. The battery typically lasts a full day with moderate use, but heavy users may need to charge more frequently. The device lacks an anti-reflective coating on the display and does not include Qi2 magnets for wireless charging accessories. Additional features include the Now Bar widget for live information and the Gemini Live assistant. Samsung promises seven years of software and security updates for the device.
