Özel challenged President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to political competition, inviting him to debate and present evidence of alleged corruption. He warned against provoking street protests, asserting his control over such actions and urging caution. Additionally, Özel met with SPD members of Turkish descent in Berlin during his visit.
