Baklava kutusunda rüşvete ihraç talebi! CHP'li Manavgat Belediyesi'ne yönelik düzenlenen "rüşvet" operasyonunda adı geçen Engin Tüter, Cengiz Coşar ve Hüseyin Cem Gül, CHP yönetimi tarafından kesin ihraç talebiyle disipline sevk edildi.
Turkey’s main opposition party, the Republican People’s Party (CHP), has launched disciplinary proceedings against three members caught up in a bribery investigation at the Manavgat Municipality in the Mediterranean province of Antalya. Following a meeting of the party’s Central Executive Board chaired by leader Özgür Özel, CHP spokesperson Deniz Yücel said Engin Tüter, Cengiz Coşar and Hüseyin Cem Gül were referred to the disciplinary board with a request for permanent expulsion. The trio are accused of orchestrating a kickback scheme that prosecutors say was captured on video, including footage of cash concealed in a baklava box. The board also suspended the party memberships of Manavgat’s current mayor, Niyazi Nefi Kara, and his predecessor, Şükrü Sözen, pending the outcome of the judicial probe. CHP officials said the measures aim to protect the party’s integrity while cooperating with law-enforcement authorities.
