Renault has unveiled its new SUV model, the Boreal, aiming to expand its market presence beyond Europe, starting with Brazil. The Boreal is positioned as a compact SUV, smaller than the Volkswagen Gol, which has drawn attention for its design but may face challenges due to its pricing. Production of the Boreal is set to begin in 2026 at Renault's Bursa facility in Türkiye, supported by a €400 million investment through a partnership with OYAK. The vehicle is planned for export to over 50 countries, marking Renault's strategic move to enhance its international sales and product lineup.
