HGTV has canceled two of its best-known home-renovation franchises, ending Christina Haack’s “Christina on the Coast” after five seasons and shelving “The Flipping El Moussas” with Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa after two seasons. The cuts are part of a broader programming overhaul that has also removed titles such as “Bargain Block,” “Farmhouse Fixer,” “Married to Real Estate” and “Izzy Does It.” While the pair of cancellations trims the network’s lineup of shows featuring the former “Flip or Flop” co-hosts, HGTV has renewed their joint competition series “The Flip Off” for a second season. The freshman season, which premiered in January, delivered HGTV’s highest ratings for a new series among adults since 2022, but production dates for the follow-up run have not been set.
