Judicial Watch has successfully compelled the removal of 5 million names deemed invalid from voter rolls and is currently pursuing further legal action to clean up voter registrations in Oregon, Illinois, and California. A federal court in Oregon has allowed a lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch, the Constitution Party of Oregon, and two registered voters to proceed, aiming to ensure the accuracy of Oregon's voter rolls. The U.S. Department of Justice has filed a statement of interest supporting Judicial Watch's lawsuit to enforce federal law requiring the cleanup of Illinois’ election rolls. Additionally, the Fifth Circuit Court ruled that counting ballots received up to five days after Election Day is unlawful, a decision aligned with Judicial Watch’s position. Judicial Watch also filed lawsuits against the U.S. Department of Homeland Security seeking records on efforts to locate unaccompanied alien children lost during the Biden administration, and against the U.S. Department of Justice for records related to the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump on July 13, 2024, as well as the FBI’s investigation of Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign under then-Director James Comey. Separately, concerns have been raised about border security, highlighting that under the Biden administration, cartels generated over $13 billion annually from human smuggling, and that federal agencies facilitated the entry of approximately 550,000 unaccompanied alien children. There are calls for Congress to close legal loopholes that incentivize such practices.
Under Biden, federal agencies became the last leg in an international smuggling business that brought 550,000 unaccompanied alien children across our borders. Congress must close the loopholes in our law that incentivize this practice. @WatchfulWaiter1 https://t.co/HpZOVDCbqD
