House Speaker Mike Johnson has raised more than $50 million for House Republicans so far in the 2025-26 election cycle, according to newly filed Federal Election Commission reports and party officials. The Louisiana Republican pulled in over $18 million during the second quarter, underscoring his central role in financing the party’s effort to defend its narrow majority next year. Johnson’s joint fundraising vehicle, Grow the Majority, was responsible for $11.68 million of the quarterly haul. The committee reported $2.36 million in operating expenses and transferred about $17.9 million to the National Republican Congressional Committee, Johnson’s own campaign and allied leadership PACs as well as several state party organizations and frontline incumbents. The latest figures place Johnson among the top congressional fund-raisers heading into the midterm contests, giving House Republicans a financial edge as they prepare for what both parties expect to be a costly battle for control of the chamber.

MISLEADING: Yesterday Senator Cornyn overstated his quarterly fundraising by 385% and now Laura Loomer is exclusively reporting that his latest TV ad airing tomorrow is deceptively edited to make it appear Trump is praising Cornyn instead of BOTH Texas Senators - Cruz and Cornyn. https://t.co/Auss3lcTND https://t.co/5ViCBDo8t5
