Activision has quietly published key launch details for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on the Xbox and PlayStation digital stores, confirming a global release on 14 November 2025. The first-person shooter, developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, is set in 2035 and introduces a co-operative campaign led by series protagonist David Mason, alongside expanded multiplayer modes and the franchise’s round-based Zombies gameplay. An early-access beta will run from 2 October for players who pre-order or subscribe to select Game Pass tiers, followed by an open beta for all users starting 5 October. Digital listings say the game will ship with 16 six-versus-six maps, two 20-versus-20 maps and an ‘Omnimovement’ locomotion system. Pre-orders are now live at US$70 for the Standard edition and US$100 for the Vault edition, which includes cross-generation access and cosmetic bonuses. In a first for the series under Microsoft ownership, Black Ops 7 will also be available day-one on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
