Electronic Arts unveiled the most extensive revamp of Madden NFL’s Franchise Mode in more than a decade, promising a television-style presentation and deeper team management tools in Madden NFL 26, due for release on 14 August 2025. The update adds in-game halftime shows and weekly recap programs hosted by NFL RedZone anchor Scott Hanson, along with four distinct broadcast packages that mirror Sunday afternoon, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football and Thursday Night Football telecasts. Players will be able to design coaches with head-to-toe customization, create weekly strategies and bespoke playsheets, and access other unspecified features aimed at improving immersion. Pre-orders for the title, including a deluxe edition with early access starting 11 August, are now available across consoles and PC.
