Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have announced “Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival,” the first standalone video-game adaptation of the cult horror franchise since its 1987 debut. Revealed on 22 July, the title is pitched as a first-person, single-player survival-horror action game and is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. Series creator Clive Barker is advising on the story, while actor Doug Bradley returns to voice the cenobite Pinhead for the first time in nearly two decades. Players assume the role of Aidan, who must wield the powers of the Genesis Configuration puzzle box to rescue his girlfriend from the labyrinthine hellscape and confront a cult devoted to the Cenobites. Pre-orders opened alongside the announcement, with three Collector’s Editions priced at $249.99, $199.99 and $129.99; the top-tier Leviathan edition is capped at 1,000 copies across all platforms. The companies have not given a release date, saying only that the launch is “closer than you think,” with further details due later this year.
