Apple is set to launch its iPhone 17 series in September 2025, featuring models including the iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Pro, and the newly introduced iPhone 17 Air. The iPhone 17 Air is notable for its ultra-thin design at 5.4mm thickness, replacing the iPhone 16 Plus which was 7.8mm thick. This model incorporates advanced silicon battery technology developed by TDK, offering 15% more energy density despite its slim profile. Apple is discontinuing the Plus model in this lineup. The iPhone 17 series is expected to bring six major camera upgrades across models. The Pro and Pro Max versions will also feature multiple enhancements, with at least ten new changes reported for these higher-end models. Meanwhile, Samsung is preparing to release its Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 foldable smartphones, with leaks revealing a stronger titanium hinge, a wider design for the Fold 7, and the use of the Exynos 2500 chip in the Flip 7 for most countries. The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is also anticipated to return with a squarish design, a rotating bezel, and a third button, resembling an "Ultra" model in design. These Samsung devices are expected to launch around July 2025.
