Apple has set an internal target to release a long-delayed upgrade to its Siri voice assistant in spring 2026, coinciding with the iOS 26.4 software update. This upgrade is part of Apple's broader artificial intelligence strategy and aims to enhance Siri's capabilities by integrating personal data and on-screen activity, enabling more context-aware and multi-step task handling. The update, initially teased at WWDC 2024 and previously postponed from a planned 2025 release, is expected to be a key step in Apple's AI turnaround effort. Additionally, Apple is preparing a refreshed version of its Vision Pro mixed-reality headset, expected to launch as early as late 2025. This upgrade will feature a new M4 chip, an expanded Neural Engine, and a more comfortable strap. A lighter, redesigned Vision Pro model is also planned for release in 2027.
