Two boys, aged 16 and 17 from Llantwit Major, appeared separately at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on Thursday charged with murdering 38-year-old Kamran Aman, who was stabbed on Barry Road in Barry shortly before midnight on Monday. The magistrates ruled the allegation too serious for their court, remanding both teenagers to youth detention and sending the case to Cardiff Crown Court for a first hearing on 7 July. South Wales Police said they are not seeking additional suspects. Aman’s family, in a statement released through the force, described the married father-of-one as a devoted husband and cherished member of the community.
