President Donald Trump on Tuesday criticized Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc.’s new corporate logo, urging the casual-dining chain to abandon its recent rebranding and restore its previous design. In a post on his Truth Social platform dated Aug. 26, Trump wrote that the company should “go back to the old logo, admit a mistake based on customer response, and manage the company better than ever before.” He added that reversing the change could provide “a billion dollars’ worth of free publicity” and declared, “Make Cracker Barrel a winner again.” Trump also called on the restaurant’s leadership to hold a “major News Conference today” to announce the reversal. Cracker Barrel has not publicly responded to the remarks.
