Montgomery County police have arrested two teenage boys accused of holding up the same downtown Bethesda liquor store on three consecutive days last week. Investigators say the pair entered the Geste Beer & Wine store on July 8 and July 9, threatened an employee with what appeared to be a firearm and fled with cash taken from the register. Surveillance footage from the shop and a nearby Metro station helped officers identify the suspects. On July 10, officers patrolling the area found the teenagers back inside the store and took them into custody before another theft could occur. Each suspect is charged with two counts of armed robbery and one count of robbery; the case has been referred to the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services.
