Gilbert, Arizona, police have arrested a 15-year-old girl on suspicion of assault, disorderly conduct and violating the town’s curfew after a group attack late Saturday in the parking lot of an In-N-Out Burger near Williams Field Road and Market Street. Officers responded around 11:30 p.m. on July 5, interviewed witnesses and reviewed widely circulated videos showing several girls punching and pulling the victim’s hair before making the arrest, the department said Monday. The footage and tactics resemble previous assaults attributed to the so-called “Gilbert Goons,” a teen group implicated in a string of blitz-style beatings across the East Valley. Police said the latest incident adds to at least seven recorded attacks at the same fast-food location and reaffirmed their commitment to pursuing all leads, asking parents to monitor their children’s whereabouts and urging anyone with information to submit tips as the investigation continues.
