All three teenagers sought in connection with a fatal shooting at Ian Deutch Memorial Park in Pahrump, Nevada, have surrendered, the Nye County Sheriff’s Office said late Tuesday. Anthony Aguilar, 18, and Fabian Ferrante, 19, turned themselves in on Tuesday afternoon; Carlos Blakely, 18, gave himself up the previous evening with the assistance of his mother. The 5 July gunfire erupted around 10 p.m., shortly after Pahrump’s weekly “Movies in the Park” family event. Investigators say Joey Perry, a 22-year-old local resident, was shot four times while trying to break up a fight. Perry was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Aguilar and Blakely are expected to face charges including murder, conspiracy and possession of an illegally modified semi-automatic firearm. Ferrante is no longer considered a suspect but remains a person of interest and is being questioned by detectives. Sheriff Joe McGill said video shows an earlier brawl involving the teens and dozens of onlookers and confirmed the weapon had been altered to fire automatically. In response, the town has suspended the “Movies in the Park” programme until further notice as the investigation continues.
