Montgomery County police are investigating four separate missing-person cases reported between 1 and 2 July and are asking the public for assistance. A Silver Alert has been activated for 80-year-old William Heyward, who was last seen on 27 June. Detectives corrected his age to 80 and urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the department. In unrelated cases, officers are also searching for 89-year-old Harry Winfred Sheppard, 58-year-old Howard Davis and 53-year-old Benedict Leong. The investigations are being led by detectives from the 2nd and 3rd district investigative sections as well as the Cold Case and Missing Persons unit.
