Prince George’s County authorities have charged 32-year-old Harry Lindsey of Landover with first- and second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of his girlfriend, 29-year-old Sharita Cristwell of Bladensburg. Cristwell was found with gunshot wounds on July 6 and later died at a hospital, police said. In an unrelated incident, the same county’s Homicide Unit is seeking tips in the killing of 21-year-old J’len Livingston, who was shot around 1 a.m. Sunday in the 7500 block of Allendale Drive in Landover. Investigators do not believe the attack was random and are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment. Across the District line, the Metropolitan Police Department has opened a homicide investigation after 3-year-old Honesty Cheadle died Monday from injuries sustained in a July 5 shooting while she sat in a parked car with relatives in Southeast Washington.
