Two teenage girls were shot near the historic Stonewall Inn in Manhattan late Sunday night following New York City's annual Pride March. The victims, aged 16 and 17, were shot on West 4th Street between Grove Street and Barrow Street at 3 Sheridan Square in Greenwich Village. One girl was shot in the head and is in critical condition, while the other was shot in the leg. Police responded to the scene with a massive presence and have taped off the area as part of their investigation. Authorities are searching for three to four masked suspects dressed in all black. According to a law enforcement source, the 16-year-old victim who was shot in the head is believed to have been the initial shooter rather than a bystander. The incident occurred hours after the Pride celebrations concluded, and Mayor Eric Adams confirmed the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing.
