The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) has officially published the results of its 2025-2026 undergraduate admission exam. The announcement came on July 17, 2025, through the official "Admisión UNAM" portal, where applicants can check their admission status using their credentials. The exam consisted of 120 questions, and among thousands of candidates, only two students achieved a perfect score. UNAM offers admission for various modalities, including the school-based system, open, and distance education. Successful applicants must meet the requirements outlined in the admission call to secure their place. Additionally, the university will accept 40,000 new students this cycle, a substantial increase from the 10,000 accepted in the first test phase. The application process for enrollment will begin on July 21, 2025, at 8 a.m. PT, following the creation of applications from July 18, 3 p.m. PT to July 21, 7:59 a.m. PT. Admission will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
