The PGA Tour released its 2026 schedule on Tuesday, restoring Trump National Doral in Miami to the lineup for the first time since 2016. The resort’s Blue Monster course will host the newly branded Miami Championship, a $20 million signature event set for the first weekend in May. Tour chief executive Brian Rolapp said the venue will help “showcase the game’s greatest players competing at golf’s most iconic venues.” A title sponsor for the tournament has yet to be named. Doral’s return comes in a season that features nine signature events, culminating with the Travelers Championship from 22–28 June. The stretch creates a congested spring in which five high-profile tournaments fall within six weeks, bracketed by the Masters and the PGA Championship. The 2026 campaign begins 8 January at Kapalua in Hawaii. Among notable changes, the Mexico Open shifts to the autumn schedule, while the Dominican Republic’s opposite-field event moves to July. The Barracuda Championship in Truckee, California, which used a modified Stableford format, has been dropped. Detroit’s Rocket Mortgage Classic shifts from late June to the first weekend in August. All three FedEx Cup Playoff tournaments will again be carried by CBS. The fall portion of the calendar and any remaining sponsorship details are expected to be announced later.
