Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai used the state’s second Industry Dialogue in Raipur on Tuesday to hand investors letters of intent for projects valued at about ₹1 lakh crore. The commitments, spanning sectors that were not immediately detailed, are aimed at accelerating industrial expansion in the mineral-rich state. Industry Minister Lakhanlal Devangan said the pledges build on a new Industrial Policy the government introduced in November 2024, which offers incentives such as streamlined land allotment and fiscal concessions. Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain added that the administration has overhauled labour regulations and tightened timelines for approvals to improve the business climate. Sai also launched Single Window System 2.0, an online portal intended to provide end-to-end clearances and monitor project progress. The chief minister told executives that the digital system and recent policy changes underscore his government’s goal of making Chhattisgarh “the preferred investment destination in central India.”
