Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva was sworn in on Thursday as the 29th Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court. Governor Mangubhai Patel administered the oath of office during a ceremony at the Raj Bhavan’s Sandipani Auditorium in Bhopal, following a presidential notification issued by President Droupadi Murmu. Sachdeva had been serving as acting chief justice of the court since May. Born in Delhi on 26 December 1964, he earned a commerce degree from Sri Ram College of Commerce and completed his law degree at Delhi University in 1988, the same year he registered with the Bar Council of Delhi.
