India’s National Investigation Agency has apprehended Rizwan Ali, also known as Abu Salma or Mola, the eleventh individual linked to the ISIS Pune sleeper-cell case. The agency said Ali carried a ₹3 lakh reward and had been evading arrest for his alleged role in training operatives in improvised explosive devices, scouting hideouts and planning terrorist attacks. Ali was detained under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, the Explosive Substances Act and the Indian Penal Code, joining ten others already in custody. The NIA maintains that the dismantled module was preparing a series of attacks in Maharashtra and other parts of India.
