Flash floods have severely impacted regions in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, prompting extensive search and rescue operations. In Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, over 50 bodies have been recovered from debris following a flash flood in Chasoti village, with coordinated efforts by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Indian Army, State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), police, and local administration. In Himachal Pradesh's Mandi district, heavy rains have caused numerous landslides, resulting in widespread damage to public and private properties. Meanwhile, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the provincial government led by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has initiated relief efforts, including the release of 5.1 billion Pakistani rupees for flood-affected areas. The Pakistan Army’s Corps of Engineers has deployed urban search and rescue teams in Buner, Shangla, and Swat districts, distributing rations under the direction of the Army Chief. The federal government, following Prime Minister directives, has mobilized federal ministers to participate in relief operations in the flood-hit districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Authorities continue to search for missing persons, and the provincial government has pledged to fully compensate for the damages caused by the floods.
