In Delhi's Lajpat Nagar-I area, a woman named Ruchika Sewani, 42, and her 14-year-old son Krish were found murdered inside their home on July 2. The victims were discovered with their throats slit, and the house was locked when police arrived following a call from Ruchika's husband, Kuldeep, who reported bloodstains and no response from his wife and son. The domestic help, who had been missing initially, was apprehended by police in Noida. According to the investigation, the accused killed Ruchika and her son after being scolded by Ruchika for his prolonged absence and other issues, including a loan of Rs 45,000 taken from the family. The accused reportedly slit their throats in retaliation. The bodies were found in the bedroom and washroom. The Delhi Police are continuing their investigation into the case.
