The death of Prajurit Dua (Prada) Lucky Chepril Saputra Namo, a 23-year-old soldier, has prompted demands for justice from his family and attention from Indonesian authorities. His father, Sersan Mayor Christian Namo, accused senior personnel of being responsible for his son's death, describing the perpetrators as having a 'PKI nature' and called for a thorough investigation. Four individuals suspected of involvement have been detained but remain under questioning. The military district commander of Ngada, Letkol Czi Deny Wahyu Setiyawan, confirmed the detention of these suspects. The House of Representatives Commission I has requested the military police to conduct a comprehensive inquiry into the incident. Despite the family's request for a forensic autopsy, no forensic doctor was available to perform it. Prada Lucky was buried with military honors, while his family continues to seek transparency regarding allegations of abuse by senior soldiers. His mother stated that Prada Lucky had recounted being beaten and whipped by senior personnel and urged for severe punishment for those responsible. The case has drawn public attention and calls for accountability within the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI).
