Israeli anti-war activists disrupted a live broadcast of Channel 13’s popular “Big Brother” reality show late on Saturday, climbing onto the stage during a voting segment and chanting "Get out of Gaza". Participants wore shirts bearing anti-occupation slogans before security removed them from the set, briefly halting the programme. The protest was organised by Standing Together, a Jewish-Arab social-justice movement that has intensified demonstrations against Israel’s operations in Gaza. Members said they wanted to draw attention to mounting civilian casualties and called for an immediate cease-fire and a prisoner-exchange deal with Hamas. The studio intervention came amid a broader weekend of unrest. Hundreds of demonstrators blocked Tel Aviv’s Ayalon highway and rallied outside the Defence Ministry and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence in Jerusalem, demanding an end to the war. Police deployed mounted units and made several arrests after scuffles with protesters.
