Israeli security forces have arrested a woman in her seventies suspected of planning to assassinate Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu using an explosive device. The suspect, described as an anti-government activist from central Israel, is accused of expressing intent to kill Netanyahu and seeking assistance from other activists to obtain weapons and gather information on his security measures. Reports indicate that the woman decided to carry out the alleged plot after being diagnosed with a terminal illness. She has been formally charged in connection with the assassination plan. Separately, Israeli authorities also announced the arrest of the individual responsible for a recent vehicular attack in Kfar Yona, central Israel.
