The Italian football club Monza has been sold by the Berlusconi family to the American investment fund Beckett Layne Ventures (BLV). The transaction marks the end of nearly 40 years of Berlusconi family involvement in football, which began in 1986 with Silvio Berlusconi's ownership of AC Milan. The sale includes 80% of the shares initially, with the remaining 20% to be transferred after 12 months. The total deal is valued at approximately 45 million euros. Monza, recently relegated to the Italian second division, is now fully owned by the US fund. This transfer signifies the conclusion of the Berlusconi era in Italian football. Separately, in Germany, Hasan Ismaik has sold his shares in TSV 1860 München after 14 years, ending his involvement with the club.
