The California Highway Patrol and local fire authorities responded to the incident, which led to significant traffic disruptions. By late Monday night, one lane was reopened, and the left lane of northbound I-15 was accessible by early Tuesday morning. County Fire deployed additional ambulances and support units to assist affected motorists. The fire resulted in a major traffic backup on I-15 heading towards Las Vegas. Separately, traffic incidents on Washington state roads SR 529 at the Snohomish River Bridge and SR 530 near Whitman Road were cleared by Monday evening.
