The Mexican 🇲🇽 government has launched a subsidized production of state-owned chocolate bars. Zero traceability or identification of the manufacturing location, will end well. "Wellness chocolate," is yet another scandal of Mexican socialism under Claudia. https://t.co/7BBfIcuSlm

The Mexican government, led by President Claudia Sheinbaum and María Luisa Albores González, director general of Seguridad Alimentaria Mexicana, has launched the Chocolate del Bienestar, a new state-supported chocolate product. The initiative aims to support local cacao producers from Chiapas and Tabasco, sourcing directly from small-scale farmers involved in the Sembrando Vida program. The Chocolate del Bienestar is available in three forms: a 20-gram chocolate bar priced at 14 pesos, chocolate powder at 38 pesos, and table chocolate for hot drinks at 96 pesos. The products contain varying cocoa contents—50% for the bar, 30% for the powder, and 35% for the table chocolate—and are produced using agroforestry methods. Despite the chocolate packaging displaying three health warning labels for excess sugar, calories, and saturated fats, María Luisa Albores has affirmed the product is healthy. The chocolates will be distributed through the government’s network of Bienestar stores nationwide.
