Israeli forces have killed four Palestinians while they were traveling through a military zone south of Gaza City to seek aid, an area commonly used to reach food distribution points and hospitals, according to multiple witnesses and hospital sources. In addition to these fatalities, Israeli airstrikes have targeted several locations across the Gaza Strip, including residential buildings in Gaza City’s Al-Karama, Al-Nasr, Al-Sabra neighborhoods, and the town of Zawayda. These attacks have resulted in multiple casualties, including children and infants, with reports of injured and missing individuals under rubble following bombings. Since dawn on August 28, hospital sources reported at least eight Palestinians killed in various Israeli attacks, and medical facilities have received numerous casualties, particularly after an attack on civilians waiting for aid in the Al-Sudaniya area northwest of Gaza. Israeli naval and artillery shelling has also been reported in western Rafah and the northern Nuseirat refugee camp. Palestinian medical and civil defense teams continue rescue efforts despite limited equipment. Overall, at least 16 Palestinians have been killed in scattered Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since early August 28.
