Since early August 23, 2025, Israeli forces have conducted extensive military operations in Gaza and the occupied West Bank. In northern Gaza's Jabalia area, Israeli troops have demolished over 30 homes using explosive-laden robots and drones, resulting in numerous fatalities and injuries. These robotic devices, described as old armored vehicles packed with explosives, have been detonated remotely in residential neighborhoods including Jabalia al-Balad, Al-Zarqa, Al-Nazla, Al-Tuffah, Al-Sabra, and Al-Zaytoun, causing widespread destruction to homes, schools, and other buildings. Airstrikes have also targeted areas such as Al-Shujaiya, Al-Karama, Al-Bureij Camp, Al-Mawasi, and Al-Saftawi, killing multiple civilians including children and infants, and injuring many others. Notably, a Palestinian family of five was killed when their displacement tent in Al-Mawasi was struck. Rescue efforts have been hampered by ongoing attacks, leaving several bodies trapped under rubble. In the southern Gaza Strip near Khan Younis, Israeli strikes have destroyed residential buildings, including the Shorbaji family home and a tent in Al-Qarara where a father, mother, and three children were killed. In the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces have intensified raids and military presence in cities such as Ramallah, Nablus, Hebron, Qalqilya, and Bethlehem. These operations have included storming refugee camps, detaining Palestinians, firing on civilians, and raiding commercial establishments. Confrontations between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian residents have resulted in injuries, including a boy shot in Ramallah. Israeli snipers have occupied strategic positions such as the rooftop of the Arab Care Hospital in Ramallah. The military escalation has led to dozens of casualties and heightened tensions across Gaza and the West Bank.
