Israeli forces shot and killed 55-year-old Palestinian Ahmad Ali Ammour during a pre-dawn operation in the town of Rummana, west of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, on 10 July. Palestinian media said troops fired on Ammour after alleging he had stabbed and wounded an Israeli soldier, then ran over his body with a military vehicle. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, soldiers seized Ammour’s body and removed it from the scene. Local reporters also said the forces detained several of the deceased’s sons during the raid. The Israeli army has not publicly commented on the incident.
