The OIC's final statement denounced Israeli plans to occupy Gaza fully and any attempts to displace Palestinians, labeling Israeli actions in Gaza and the West Bank as war crimes. Egypt and Turkey also condemned Israeli settlement expansions and violations in occupied Palestinian lands. Meanwhile, Syria strongly condemned Israel's military incursions near Mount Hermon and southern Damascus, describing these actions as violations of sovereignty and threats to regional security. Syrian authorities reported that Israel deployed 60 soldiers to seize territory around Mount Hermon, escalating tensions amid ongoing peace talks mediated by the US. Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz affirmed that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) would maintain a presence on Mount Hermon and in the security zone to protect communities in the Golan Heights and Galilee, citing threats from Syria. Katz also pledged continued protection for the Druze community in Syria. Israeli officials described their operations in southern Syria as routine, denying activity near Beit Jinn close to the Lebanese border. The Israeli Foreign Minister rejected the establishment of a Palestinian state, calling it suicidal and asserting that Israeli population centers would be endangered if such a state existed in Jerusalem and the West Bank. Saudi Arabia expressed strong condemnation of ongoing Israeli violations and incursions into Syrian territory.
