Tesla’s Europe and Middle East division released a brief teaser video on 27 Aug. showing the rear spoiler of what it called the Model Y Performance, confirming that a higher-powered version of the company’s best-selling electric SUV is imminent. The automaker said the vehicle will be formally unveiled on 29 Aug. The clip, posted only to the regional account, has led analysts to speculate that the initial launch will prioritize European and Middle-Eastern markets. Tesla has not yet disclosed specifications, pricing or availability for other regions.
