The United Nations Human Rights Office has documented a rising number of killings in Gaza near humanitarian aid points and convoys since late May 2025. Initially, the UN reported 613 killings at aid distribution points operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), a group backed by the United States and Israel, as well as near other humanitarian convoys. By mid-July, this figure had increased to at least 798 deaths, including 615 near GHF sites and 183 along routes of other aid convoys. The most recent update from mid-July indicates that the total number of killings has reached at least 875 over the past six weeks. These deaths occurred while Palestinians were attempting to receive food and humanitarian aid in Gaza. The GHF employs private US security and logistics for its operations. The UN's findings highlight ongoing violence in proximity to aid delivery efforts in the Gaza Strip.
