Major League Baseball on Wednesday unveiled the fan-elected starting line-ups for the 2025 All-Star Game, which will be played on July 15 at Truist Park in Atlanta. The Los Angeles Dodgers and Detroit Tigers led the way with three position-player starters apiece, reflecting strong support for the current division leaders. For the National League, the Dodgers’ Shohei Ohtani was voted in at designated hitter alongside first baseman Freddie Freeman and catcher Will Smith, giving Los Angeles three fan-elected starters for the first time since 1980. They are joined by second baseman Ketel Marte (Diamondbacks), third baseman Manny Machado (Padres), shortstop Francisco Lindor (Mets) and an outfield of Ronald Acuña Jr. (Braves), Pete Crow-Armstrong (Cubs) and Kyle Tucker (Cubs). The American League line-up features Tigers teammates Gleyber Torres at second base and outfielders Riley Greene and Javier Báez. Rounding out the AL starters are catcher Cal Raleigh (Mariners), first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Blue Jays), third baseman José Ramírez (Guardians), rookie shortstop Jacob Wilson (Athletics), outfielder Aaron Judge (Yankees) and designated hitter Ryan O’Hearn (Orioles). Judge and Ohtani had already secured starting berths by leading their respective leagues in the first phase of balloting. MLB will announce the pitching staffs and reserve position players on July 6, with managers Aaron Boone (AL) and Dave Roberts (NL) selecting the starting pitchers during All-Star week.
